I am wiring up the vehicle and also finishing off the air intake system. I live in Massachusetts and using a 98 Mustang donor so has to be EPA compliant. My question, I have to move the Mass air flow meter forward to clear the right bank coil pack. Any suggestions on best way to do this. Moving to NH not an option!!

We used a 3.5" polished aluminum, 60 degree elbow to make a new cold air intake. We modified the elbow to fit our needs and welded in two 3/4" round tubes for the stock manifold hose connections. We have less than $60 in all parts.

You can buy intake tubes and mandrel bent elbows in many lengths, angles, and diameters from Summit, Jegs or SFX Performance. They'll have the silicone sleeves / connectors and clamps as well.

Did you put the coolant reservoir on the left side?

Yes, our coolant overflow (chrome one supplied in complete kit) is mounted on the passenger side 'F' panel, with its cap about three inches down from top frame rail / hood.

The air cleaner tucks in over the exhaust header and behind the 'mud flap' panel that installs behind the front wheel (we will install this panel after paint).
