I'm a couple hours from home now, I have a few more crappy cell phone pics I could upload. Lots of people taking pictures with real cameras, including some FFR folks. I'd expect official ones next week after things calm down. I'm pretty sure Dave is wiped out, and I must take some blame for bounding him about the 818. I'll post more later

From looking at the chassis the front looks like there is still going to be a few things that need to be figured out, like radiator placement and what not. The front looks like there is going to be plenty of room up front to fit all the mechanical stuff.

I was amazed at how little support/structure there is after the rear wheel and in front of the front wheel. I'm hoping they add something in there for the bumpers.

I was looking at the interior and it looks like it might be a bit to get in and out. Not bad for a racecar, but for a street car it might be a bit difficult. It looks like that piece that you would have to climb over is pretty important to the rear tire suspension and chassis strength though.

Did anyone there say how finalized the chassis is, or that they think it is0?

It looked to me as if the rear shocks were rubbing the wheels with not very wide rubber, so I would imagine some things will change, but if they ve already gone through the trouble to build the thing and spec rigidity, i would think its pretty close...

Dave said the radiator is going up front

I'm thinking there is still frame to build to support the body, bumpers, etc. How could they build that without knowing where those mounting points would be? If you look at the GTM naked (go-cart), you can see the outline of the body, based on the support structure. I'm guessing the 818 frame will be similar, eventually (once they have a body design).
