Factory Five President Dave Smith with two of his four kids, Jenny and Adam.
I have made a habit of marking projects and accomplishments by our two major events here at Factory Five each year. Our Winter Open House (fondly known as Moochfest) is held each year in the dead of winter in February, and our Summer Open House, is held at this time (in June) each year.
This year, we've been so busy preparing for Open House, and truthfully, the 818 design competition has completely absorbed our time, that my semi-annual State of the Union presentation will have to wait a bit.
No doubt, we have some exciting new projects that we are working on and I will have my traditional post early next week, but for now, the focus is squarely on the wonderful results we've gotten on our 818 body design contest.
As I write this, the hardcore Factory Five guys are arriving in droves (THRU THE RAIN) here for the Open House party. At 10 A.M., Mad Dog will post the design winners and the link above will be live.
Early next week, I will post the rest of the news relating to our new projects and specifics about where we are going with the 818 now that body design contest is complete. On behalf of all of the employees of Factory Five Racing, I want to congratulate for everyone who participated in the contest and thank all of you for all of your support.
