Hello All,
Craig is nice enough to cut out a rear bumper grill for the rectangle opening I went with. I'm using the FFR rear bumper. The rectangle dimensions are 26" wide and 7.5" tall. That leaves .5" on top and bottom for mounting the grill to the rear bumper, which Craig is including Pem Studs to easily mount to the bumper. My goal for using this size opening was to evacuate as much heat out of the engine bay as possible.
Pricing for just one of these grills (mine) is around $150. But if I can garner some interest from a few more 818 builders then the price drops substantially.
The bottom bumper cut out I'm planning on going with the regular opening size for FFR bumper. I just haven't gotten those measurements yet.
Picture of my cutout. The muffler is currently just tacked in place and will be centered once the body is finished up.
