Have a question about drilling the cabin (driver and passenger) panels. Since they are in place from the factory can you mark and drill the panels that are in place or should you disassemble the factory placement and build from there? Not sure if this ? makes sense it would seem easier to at least have the outside panels drilled and clecoed before starting inside, but I may be missing something?

As delivered from the factory the panels are in place for ease of shipping but not necessarily accurately positioned.

Ditto on what Jeff said ... I have a Mk 4 kit and the panels needed to be fit individually. I also found it a lot easier to get the panels measured, marked and drilled with them off the car; it is a PIA otherwise.

My car was pretty well assembled, good fit on the foot box panels, so I drilled them as is, then disassembled them. I left the tub and trunk for later.

Like stated, they are just roughly slapped together for shipping.
Do yourself a favor. Don't put the rear cockpit wall in until the upper trunk floor is in. It is not easy to get in there if you do.

I drilled everything before powder coating. Found after that all the holes did not line up as perfectly as before for whatever reason. Had to chase a lot of the holes out again when doing final install. I would still pre-drill as much as possible but just consider that.
