Number 15 of the anniversary MK IV was delivered today at 12:35 CST. I should have it finished by the weekend. I can almost hear the laughter.
Everything went as smooth as silk. Jim with Stewart, called, we met up and I led him to my location. We had one tree limb he had to dog leg around.
Other than that, the off load was smooth.
I put the frame and body on my lift and pulled my Bucket T back in under it. That may be the ritual every time I work on it, if I do not sell something or buy another lift.
Lotsa boxes and lotsa parts in the boxes. I know where I will be tomorrow.
Real excited. My son took some pictures. I will see if I can get them up.
Breathe deep and relax, breathe deep and relax,,,,,,,,,.

It's a joyous occasion the day it finally arrives..all the built up anticipation is finally relieved.
Welcome to the club! :)

Thanks, AC Bill. I have just reviewed the parts list. I have a list of back orders on the top and then some O's by some individual items. Really going to be fun tomorrow. Maybe I will not burn out on inventory.

This gave me a chuckle. I have Number 15 of the 15 year anniversary Mk4's. I should be done by end of this year. Never thought it would take me this long.

Wow - just like the original cars, there's a question about who has what chassis number... pretty cool.

I have an original anniversary edition. He just got one of those continuation anniversary roadsters being passed off as originals.

Perhaps FFR "found" a bunch of left-over anniversary parts and decided to product a few extras? (sarc - just in case someone doesn't recall the story of the originals back in the '80s and '90s)
