Also will post in my build thread but I was really excited to have the first start today.
Coyote and TKO 600 combo.

It cranked right up on the first try. Everything looked good on the gauges. Fan kicked on as expected on the second run which was a little longer. She sounds really good. The video doesn't do the sound justice. I have the FFR shorty headers, J pipes and side pipes. I appreciate all the contributions I have got from the forum members to get me to this point. Particularly from EdwardB and Jazzman. They have shown incredible patience dealing with a somewhat dense newbie!! Cant wait to go cart. I did drive it the 20 or so feet back into the garage after pushing it out.

Here is the video - (I hope)

Take it easy on the drives. Engine should be retuned due to intake & exhaust changes.

Thanks Kevin. Tuner with a tune accounting for those changes is arriving tomorrow. I will load that and that will carry me through until actual driving when I will send back data logs for a custom tune.
Also appreciate all your help along the way. Always there to provide good info in email.

X4?

Yes x4. I had a 3 but it apparently can't read the codes on the new engines.

Sounds good - same one I am using. A large number of tuners work with this unit so its a good fit for the car.

Congrats on getting it running.

Forgot to ask, whos seats did you go with - remember you were concerned about fitting in the car comfortably.

I got the Kirkey high backs from FFR. Also did the removable steering wheel kit from Breeze. Very happy with my fit in the car. Darn size 13s are the biggest problem! I'm going to need to find the right pair of shoes.

How are they for getting in & out? Am thinking of a low back vintage Kirkey bucket for Auto-X

Did you consider the Stainless Header 4x1x4 option to replace the shorty/J-pipe? The J-pipes look extremely restrictive at both ends. If your budget can afford the Stainless Header option it is highly recommended.

Note: I bought mine in 2012 from Stainless Header. They are made by someone else now and I know someone will pipe in with the name.

I considered it. I could afford it if I wanted to. Maybe down the road. I think I will be plenty happy with the amount of power on hand. Honestly I doubt I will ever drive the car beyond 80% of its ability. I doubt most do. I am not really concerned about the J pipe looking restrictive for the kind of street driving I will be doing. Maybe I will feel differently after some miles. In my case any exhaust upgrade would most likely be purely for the resulting sound than a perceived performance increase that I would never really need.

Hard to tell at this point. The word I got was do not dare to mount them until the body is in place because the upper side bolster ends up very close to the body. Right now they are just sitting in place. I plan to install the 5 point harness minus the crotch strap and use the belts to hold me and the seat in place during go carting.

I love how they feel when I am sitting in them. Very comfortable and supportive. It is kind of nice now because without it attached I can kind of swivel and get out! haha
Also I am 6'3" so I did the removable steering wheel which makes getting in and out substantially easier.

Don't the seats have a slot for the 5th belt?

Yes they sure do. Pictures below. For clarification I meant just during the go cart phase I am not installing the crotch strap. I need to know where the seat will mounted permanently before I attach the 5th belt to the floor.

Here are a couple pics. Very happy with these seats. I would say the only negative is the non traditional look. I am embracing it and going with non traditional paint colors and 2 roll bars!
