Just out of curiosity I am interested in seeing the geographical location of folks interested in the 818 thus far. I've noticed a few people are close to me as well as where I grew up.

I'll start.

Yea I sent you a PM a few days ago about it.

I already parted out and sold my last project, but it was a 95 GSX. It was my baby for a good 10 years or so. Should have been a 9 second capable street car by the end, but I never wound up getting out to a full 1/4m, clicked off a 6.7 second 1/8th at shelor on 32psi, but was kicked out for lack of cage before I was able to truly push it as far as I would have liked. http://www.4nmuscle.com/pictures/Misc%20Pics/Engine%20Bay%20Modern.JPG

You can see a bunch of pics of it here: http://www.4nmuscle.com/pictures/Misc%20Pics/

Thanks, if you look through the pics I had quite a bit of custom work (s2000 gauge cluster, mil-spec wiring, built auto-trans by myself, retrofit HID's, custom ECU from an integra, E85 for fueling, etc) so I'm definately not afraid of getting dirty. I'm hoping that I can bring the same level of performance to the 818, if not take it a even further.

Well, its planned to be a 'world car', sold anywhere/everywhere. Here in the States, FFR has a contract with a shipper, Stewart Transportation (trucking company). You can pick your kit up, or have them deliver it. So if they are planning a 'world car', they would have (overseas) shipping on their radar from the start. I'm sure they have considered the cost.

Sydney, Australia here. Was originally looking for a kit car that I could use my 95 WRX as a donor for and have been disappointed by the lack of success with the Murtaya. I was stoked to come across the 818 whilst looking at the Mk4 roadster and am glad FFR are looking at this as a world car concept as I know from experience that there are a large number of Subaru enthusiasts like myself across some of the right hand drive countries such as the UK, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

Yep, I'm in. My date is in November, and I'm in Milwaukee. I'll wait till spring though because my garage.... is much too small to build a car in. I may have another option: I'm a member at the local Maker's Space. But they have restrictions against tanks of gas and other inflammable stuff indoors. I'll have to look into that option some more.

I'll have to look into that option some more.

nice! glad to hear im not the only one from wisconsin! if ya ever want help or anything lemme know! ive owned 4 subarus now and i finally pulled the trigger on this instead of an STI i thought about waiting to see what subaru reveals on the new STI's in 2014 but i started thinking about price tags and realized this is going to be cheaper, faster, and more unique
