View Full Version : Pin drive IRS Car

I am working on a project that I am grafting in the Pin Drive IRS suspension. I have purchase the retrofit kit from factory five and need some measurements to help me out. The tech department has been great but doesn't have a car there to give me some measurements that I need. I am in southern California and would greatly appreciate someone allowing me to take some measurements from their car so that I can properly relate the upper and lower mounting framework. Any help would be much appreciated. Southern California or AZ would be preferred for me to travel to or if someone really is looking for something to do and would help that would be great. Thanks in advance.

I live in Thousand Oaks, just north of Los Angeles. You're welcome to come up and take measurements.

I have some parts of my Volvo I'm selling to a guy in long Beach and will be up there for the LA Auto show the first of November if I can't come up sooner or if someone in my neighborhood doesn't raise a hand first. It's a relief knowing there is a car in reasonable distance I can come measure. I'll get in touch the moment I have time for a trip up there.

Gordon thank you. I have actually visited your place and raffled to you a few years ago as part of a trip to visit my dad in Gilbert. I actually started an email to talk to you about some wilwood brakes for the car as I know you have had a kit with parking brake that I liked. Thanks for the offer. Do you have a pin drive car there at your shop?
