I'm going to order the Boyd roadster tank and the sending units that he sells come in different Ohm ranges. Does anyone know which one works with the FFR regular gauges that come with the kit?
0-90 ohm
33-240 ohm
10-75 ohm
0-30 ohm
Thanks!

FWIW, FF supplies the Ford standard 16-158 ohms sending units with their kit. Interestingly, none of the ones you list. But if you're using Speedhut gauges, they can be calibrated. All of the ones you list are in their instructions. Plus they have a manual mode. http://www.speedhut.com/instructions/2in_and_258in_rev_fuel_level_instructions.pdf

Thanks edwardb.
I emailed Dave Boyd and he confirmed that he doesn't have the 16-158 ohm sending units. I searched Summit etc and wasn't able to find any with that ohm range so to keep it simple, I'm going to get another Autometer gauge that matches the style I have but with the GM 0-90 ohm range and one of Daves sending units.
Dave has designs for the MK2 tank and also an MK4 tank which isn't shown on his website. Pictures he sent me attached. Has FFR changed the rear part of the frame that the tank attaches too with the change from MK2, MK3 and MK4? The MK4 tank mounts using tabs instead of the straps and I think that looks cleaner. I have an MK3

I can only comment about Mk3 and Mk4. They use the same Mustang tank, same straps, same fill tube, etc. So in that regard, they're identical. I couldn't say obviously whether a custom tank for one would fit the other. There could some other subtle difference(s) that don't show with the usual 87-93 Mustang tank.
Doesn't affect what you're doing, but FYI the tank on the Mk4 is much less visible than on the Mk3. In fact you can hardly see it with the car at ride height. The body is that much lower in the back. So straps or no straps, whatever, isn't noticeable on a Mk4.
