Really excited by the open house. Wasn't sure I'd even make it.

Sitting at home it was supposed to be easy. Quick trip to the airport, a few days in NYC, then head over to the open house. Boy was I wrong.

22 hours to get to NYC thanks to the worlds largest car park (aka the M25 motorway). I missed my flight along with a lot of other people. Couldn't get on the next flight because of "a lot of other people" that had also missed their flight and had to re-book.

So now it is the day before, I pick up a rental car tonight. I'm going to leave at 5am so I can get to Wareham for 9am.

I can hardly wait. Of course, now I need to figure out how to drive on the wrong side of the road... :)

I need to get back to NYC tomorrow night. Any suggestions for what I can do as a "drive by" tourist between NYC and Wareham?

Just had a minor panic. I assume the open house is at the address listed under the contact us page on the main web site?

9 Tow Road
Wareham, MA 02571

I really hope that the address above isn't just the address for the registered business (i.e. a paper work address).

I'm blindly going to follow a satnav (GPS in US language?).

I believe the address is also the location.......you should get the long distance award......even though you didn't drive!

I think ZeustheDog wins the long distance award. He is coming from Australia, and (I think) it is even the west coast of Australia which is an extra 3 hours flying just to get to the east coast.

Either way, I can't wait. Not even sure what to expect, but very excited by the chance to see one of these without the body work on. I've only seen Ian Hunter's car up close, and the spare chassis that he had.

Well the free upgrade to a Mustang by the rental company was nice. Strange turning up in a Mustang and having the smallest engine around.

Great to see some of the vendors that have already taken my money, and some that will take some more shortly.

Special thanks to Mark Dougherty for walking me around and helping me pick out a few of the great specials that were on offer.

An expensive trip, but a great one. Will be bringing my wife over for next years!

Jeff - you too. Just have to sort out some brake packages and what fits and I will be placing another order...
