If I was to go for 15" wheels are Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials the best tire to go with?

I have 15" wheels and used the BFG 275/50r15 tires when they were available. Now the 15" tire selection is limited. I think the more important issue is the limited brake combinations that can be used with 15" wheels.
Right now, I am wishing I had 17" wheels and tires and I thought would share this info. It is getting close to buying new tires time.
FYI, I am looking at the Mickey Thompson 295/50r15 tires since I am committed to 15" tires right now. First, I have to find out if I will have rubbing issues.

Yes I did a search on 15in tires and not to much of a selection and had someone else PM me about the brake problem. I think I will stay with the 17in bullitts

17" Bullitts will look killer for sure.
BTW You can run Wilwood brakes with 15" rims, just FYI.

Couple other options for you:
The "best" 15-inch tire to go with is the Avon CR6ZZ. The reviews I have seen from the Kirkham and CSX guys are phenomenal for these tires: amazing traction, progressive release, radial construction, vintage look and tread pattern, DOT rated... problem is though, the price ... about $1600-1700 a set.
Another option is the Goodyear "Billboards". They do have their drawbacks, including flat-spotting, stone-throwing, tramming, etc. But, they do have gobs of traction ... and that traction equals safety in many circumstances. Plus, they really do fill up the wheel wells better than any other 15" tire. Price on these is better (but still up there) at about $1000-1100 a set. For me though, the stance and "look" that these tires give to the car just can't be beat! ;)
Here's the link to the C*bra-orientated tires that Roger Kraus Racing sells (including the Avon's and Goodyear's) -> http://rogerkrausracing.com/racetirepricing/index.php?dir=Cobra+Tires%2F&download=Cobra+2011cat.pdf

The Firestone Indy Firehawks are well worth the money. I paid about $600-650 for four from TireRack.

Summit Racing has the Cooper Cobra radial GT's in stock. I bought them about a month ago. $604 for all 4 and had them in 3 days. Good luck
I have the Mickey's and love them. Alot stickier than the Coopers, Firestones and TA's which is about all thats avaiable in a good 15" (295/50/15) street tire. The Avons and Goodyear Billboards are alot stickier, so much so that they pick up every little grain of sand on the street and do a number on your paint. The Billboards are also not DOT approved so if your in an accident you can probably count your insurance company out.
