Quick question... just checked my brakes after putting 300 miles on the cobra and noticed I have about a quarter of an inch on the top of the brake pad that is not being used. Just going over everything again and wondering if someone could take a picture of their setup. I don't have any shims that could lower the caliper so not sure how I messed up here but I'll figure it out. Sorry can't take any pictures yet because it's being shipped to NJ since u moved but will he here tomorrow.

I called wilwood and they need pictures and part numbers to help me out but just wanted to get a head start on research lol.

On the IRS wilwood brakes (thunderbird IRS) are the calipers toward the front or rear of the car on the rear brakes. I know the front are toward the rear but can't remember about the rear.

The caliper goes to the rear.

One thing to look for is interference between the spindle and the caliper mounting bracket.

There were two different heights of the bracket "ACC 12365". Some people had this problem

I think this is your problem correct? Wilwood can fix this for you w/ another bracket.

I talked with wilwood and the guy said that it is normal wear on the brake pads with the top not fully on the rotor. Never seen anything like it but I am guessing he would know. Let me know what u think
