Source for vintage style racing numbers?

I've tried a variety of different types- none seem to last that long, or fall off while driving, etc.

Ideas? I might end up taping the vinyl ones on with masking tape.

You can likely get adhesive backed vinyl numbers in any style you want from someone that does that sort of thing. I make them all the time.

I had the static cling type- one fell off while driving, and I think I was pretty careful putting them on. This is after 15 or so uses. It's also a considerable pain to put them on before each event (20+ events a year).

How many times will the adhesives work?
