Boat, where are you located?

There are simple mods you can do to fit in a roadster, if that's what you want. The '33 is easier to get in and out of, but I've only sat in one with standard seats and I feel it had less than my roadster. BTW I'm 6'5"+ and, shall we say, heavy. ;)

If you're interested I can spell out the specific mods you will need to do to get a roadster to work for you...

am really interested in the '33 hot rod. Think its what i've been looking for, just worried I would not be comfortable in it. Live in Iowa, guess are none in my area. not gonna have any at goodguys in Des Moines.

I think you'll have more room in the hot rod than any other kit out there. There is room side to side for your legs to go out a bit and as long as you get the tilt column or flip up wheel adaptor, you'll be fine. I'm 6-1" and my buddy is 6-5, 230 and he fits. I still can't believe Hodgkins fits in that Cobra. It's like a magic trick to watch that tall dude get in there. :)

Boat, you didn't say where you live in IA, nor does your profile include that information. But there is one registered '33 owner in Des Moines. Take a look at this map (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=110814653788035896750.000461708b9e4b82cbeb4&source=embed&ll=42.617791,-90.439453&spn=38.827446,78.75&z=4) to see a graphic display of where a lot of the '33 owners reside.

I drove 12 hours one way last weekend to the open house to see if I would fit in one. I'm 6'4" 240 pounds. Lots of head room in the one they have in the show room. Leg room isn't bad. A little less then my 86 Camaro. A stick car doesn't have much foot room though.
Here is the interior in the Power Block 33.

Here I am in the soft top 33.

The staff member in the pic told me there is more head room in the hard top then the soft top.
David I'd be interested in your mods.
