I've gotten a lot of interest in this custom switch panel I made for myself (see video link and pics below). Laser cutting it wouldn't be very expensive. Milling in the words would cost more and one-off's would cost a lot. The purpose of this thread is two fold:

1: How many switches would you want?
2: What functions would you want?

If enough people agree on enough of the same functions, or if they're generic enough (I put acc1 and acc2 for future expandability of my own personal version) it would be cost effective to have them made.

Hi Craig,
I'll start on a function list.
I have noting on my steering column.

Ignition on/off
Start momentary
Horn momentary
Lights high/off/low
Turn right/off/left
Wipers low/off/high
Fan auto/override
Awic pump auto/override

I think you will have a hard time getting a consensus because of personal preference.

Any way to waterjet the labels the cover the back with blue film. And then backlight. We have trouble seeing our switches on dark nights.

The waterjet shops near me are all expensive. I usually laser cut parts. Not sure how clean the laser would cut out words that small. What you are asking for is doable though.

I share Bob's thought on personal preference AND would be very interested in an option like this. I have actually been talking to Brian at iWire on some panel options but a custom panel like that would be really nice. I am also researching the MD safety laws because I would prefer not to have anything on the column.
Would like:
Ignition on/off
Start momentary
Horn momentary
Lights high/off/low
Turn right/off/left
Wipers low/off/high
Fan auto/override
Fog

Thanks for putting out the info.
