Dizy coil location

Hi All:

Changing out my Dizy with a coil loc. on top to a external coil. Looking at 3 different locations, on top of the intake manifold behind the carb, on the "F" panel, or the front of the DS head. I have seen all three locations on others. In your opinion, what is the best loc. Not concerned about using the head as I am seriously looking at the electric power steering setup that Eric Hanson has developed.

Some coils have been known to be affected by heat and/or vibration. I don't know which ones are more susceptible, but the F panel may be the best location to avoid that potential issue. My plug harness kit (Taylor Hi-Energy for the 89-93 5.0), actually came with a long coil lead, and a shorter one, so you had the option to mount it off the engine.

Put mine on the drivers side head mounted vertical.
