A big western howdy to ya. I've been a member of the other forum for a little over a year, and finally made the jump here. Had big plans to build a factory five before the down economy turned my business into mush. I'm now starting a new business that will either allow me to realize the dream of a roadster ( or 33 hot rod, I go back and forth), or it will give me another avenue to spend as much money as it makes to keep it afloat. I'm optimistic that it will be the former, while also being aware it could be the latter.
I made the plunge a few years ago, and built a small 10' mahogany runabout. I'm a woodworker by trade, specializing in antique furniture restoration, and building custom furniture, so I was excited to test my skills building a boat. We've had a blast with it the last two summers, and it always gets plenty of positive comments at the boat ramp. With that bucket list item checked off, I can't wait to start building my car!
