I have a GM performance LS3 E-Rod in my GTM with a EVAP purge solenoid on the engine. I also have a EVAP canister mounted near the 2004 corvette fuel tanks. I also have a EVAP canister VENT solenoid near the canister. The LS3 harness is wired to plug into the ENGINE EVAP solenoid but I do not know were to connect the wires from the canister solenoid (purge vent). The wires are in the fuel tank harness. The two wires are pink and white. Local GM performance people don't even know what a E-Rod LS3 is. Can someone help? Thanks.

Hi,

It sounds like you are trying to hook up both the Corvette's EVAP systems, and the LS-3 E-ROD EVAP system. Only the E-ROD's Evaporative Emissions Systems needs to be installed and connected in order for everything to work correctly. You should only need a vacuum line from the fuel tank to the EVAP canister in order for everything to work correctly, no other EVAP systems on the Corvette fuel tanks should need to be hooked up.

Thank You

Sounds like I should eliminate the EVAP canister solenoid (vent) and just leave that outlet on the canister open. Only use the EVAP purge solenoid that is on the engine. I have the vent line from the fuel tank to the canister and the line from the engine purge solenoid hooked up to the canister so I'm all set with the plumbing. The engine EVAP solenoid is wired into the engine harness so I'm all set with the wiring.
Dan, thanks for the help.
