Hey guys, the brake fluid reservoir (pressed on cap from FFR) started to leak and i didn't see it until it was dry. I have a dark grey powder coat and its now leaving a noticeable white residue. HELPPPPPP

Maybe try buffing it with something like a cut/clean product from Mequires or something similar, followed by wax. Another alternative would be to carefully wet sand away the affected area to see if there is original color below the stain.

If none of those work, I'd go with some touch-up paint or spray over the affected area - after a good cleaning to make sure the touch-up paint sticks.

I not sure about brake fluid residue but ive found that headlight restore works good on cleaning up powder coat, might be worth a try.

On issues like this, assuming that your powder coating is Gloss Black, I've sanded the area with 600 grit paper and then shot Duplicolor rattle can clear over the top.
For deeper stains, I've shot Duplicolor rattle can gloss black and then sprayed clear over the top and blended it in.
It is quite easy and you can't tell where you sprayed versus and where you didn't if you buff it after the paint cures.
Good Luck From Camp GoDadGo!

Thank you guys for the input. Forgot to mention it's the powdercoated foot box and firewall panels that are affected. Not the powdercoated chassis.

OUCH!

Can I assume that this is one of the 20th Anniversary MK-4's with the special foot box treatment?

I hate to say it bro but brake fluid on powder coat or paint goes to the bone. Powder coat is vinyl and the solvents etch their way in and don't come out...da bat
