Before I start drilling (more) holes, anyone have pictures (or suggestions/warnings), on your routing of the hydraulic clutch flex-line? Looking at my setup, getting it out of the footbox and past the wiring and moving parts of the throttle linkage and steering shaft will be somewhat of a challenge. Where is a good place to exit the footbox and enter the engine, or transmission, bay? Any other issues I haven't thought of yet? Exiting the footbox up high would work out nicely, but entering the engine bay seems better down low. It seems not possible to do both. I don't have the engine yet, and don't want to give myself an interference problem later with a valve cover or header pipe or something. Thanks all.

Boat,
I don't have a photo of it but this is how mine is routed ....
My clutch MC is the outer of the three cylinders installed on the Wilwood pedal box and I have a 302 based 347 ci engine which leaves more room.
I used a banjo fitting at the MC and then routed the line horizontally over to the area at the rear corner of the DS footbox where the hole for the wiring harness is located. I then went through the hole and down the DS of the transmission to the slave cylinder.
This keeps it away from the headers or any other heat source and no sharp curves in the line.

I ran a hard line for the clutch across the 2" X 2" square tube and then through the foot box down the trans tunnel support.
I used a braded stainless brake line to attach the hard line to the slave cylinder.
I attached the hard line with a few of the small clips that came with the kit, but they can easily remove the line if necessary.
You can't see it unless you stick your head into the foot box.
I'll try to post some pics tonight when I get home.

Simple install by running the line as shown, up and into the top of the foot box through the wiring hole (I enlarged mine just a bit) and across the foot box to the outer master cylinder.

Thanks all. Yeah, I should have mentioned it's a Forte hyd. setup, with the Wilwood pedals and a 351/427 hooked to a TKO600. My clutch M/C is a Wilwood Mini and has a 1/8th NPT on the back of it for a 1/8npt to -03AN fitting (haven't figured out if it's going to be straight, 45 deg, or 90 deg. The 90 deg fitting came with the kit.) It's amazing how that footbox upper cavity starts to shrink and get all cluttered up in there.

I've done two similar to what's already been mentioned here. Out of the MC, across along the 2-inch tube, and out the same hole in the DS footbox as the rear wiring harness. It's a straight shot down to the slave MC from there. I found a straight adapter out the back of the MC works better than the provided 90 degree fitting. The 90-degree fitting on the flex line works best at the slave cylinder end. I have a padded clamp on the flex line on the underside of the 2-inch tube and another on the 3/4-inch diagonal tube by the footbox. Makes a clean, simple install. This is the only picture I have, but shows the routing out of the MC.
