I see your doing an FE also. What bore and stroke. Did you run into anything with install that I should look for. Also what trans are you using, I am using top loader and don't see many installs with this combo. Thanks, Adam

Adam, mines a 390 no need for stroking an Fe monster torque from start. But I did consider a 445. I'm using a tko 600, only cause it's new. I wanted a top loader but I couldn't find s good one for the same as the tko. They were all about the same price but needed to be rebuilt. The only problems I've had with the install, tko 600 has to be shimmed up 3/4 of an inch and the driveshaft is tight. I have the irs so it won't be a problem. The supplied water hose connectors do not fit the Fe water pump. I read you build thread last night sucks you have to wait 11 months. But it will be worth it

Also my shifter sticks up above the 3/4 tubes in the trans tunnel. May not with the top loader

Little worried about my shifter placement. I'm going to do the shifter like my last cobra and cut hurst shifter and drill and thread bottom part so I can bolt original type shifter on. It worked well on my last cobra, but not sure where it will place shifter on this one.

I have 1" spacer under my tko 600 and everything works fine.

Fe? They say the centerline of the Fe is higher. But after I riveted the tunnel on it worked out fine

Hotrodder the engine looks great. A tip for those using photobucket to post pics. When you get that popup window where you can copy the link to you pic, use the bottom one that is labelled 'IMG'. That pops the pic right into the thread in a nice size like this.
