I have the t-bird cables on my IRS. The ferret on the FFR supplied cables do not fit in the loop on the caliper. Am I supposed to modify the caliper or do I need to get new cables? I was looking online at the t-bird cables and they are only 24" long so this doesn't seem to be an option. I also have the Lokar cables but the bung is too small for the caliper. Not sure which way to go.

I sed the T-Bird cables that came with the donor pallet I ordered in 2000. It was a 1991 Supercoupe. Still working fine this date without any update or modification.

I used T-Bird turbo-coupe calipers (on a sold axle build), with stock 94 Mustang cables that fit fine.

Lokar makes a universal parking brake cable kit specifically for the T-bird rear brakes that is a perfect match.

I have the universal cables from Lokar but the threaded bung is not long enough to thread the nut and it's to loose to not have the nut. I looked on Lokars website and the cables they have for the t-bird look exactly like the ones I have.

You have to order the ones that have a TB suffix on the part number. It has the long threaded shank you need.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot. It just sucks to have to order another set of cables!
