I installed radiator today, has any one run into the water pump bottom hose being the same size as the pump outlet? If so how do I fix this

The usual problem is that the hose is small and difficult to get onto the pump. The solution I have heard people use is to heat the end of the hose in boiling water. I would use some antifreeze on the pump as lube when installing.

Doesn't FFR send several hose connectors that have the ability to step down, or up, in sizes anymore?

They did, but the edelbrock Fe water pump has a huge outlet 2 1/4"

Take the inserts out of your of the hose connectors that came with your kit and slide them into your big hose.. look up Raceral build site.. I have pictures.
Well, I thought I had pictures... look over at the other forum for my build site.. I added pictures of my hoses there

Not fe but....

I ended up going to O'Reilly and finding a hose with the right size reduction made onto it. Cut off that part and used it with much success.
