Anyone have any coyote lift plates they would be interested in selling? Or I could rent them for a few months?

Thanks

Scott,

If you buy a set, I'll be glad to borrow them from you when I build my coupe! LOL!

Garry the problem is finding a new set to buy. They don't really seem to be available best I can tell.

Wow! Didn't realize they were so expensive. https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-19515-M50. Thought I had them, but just looked and they are nowhere; must have loaned them out. Perhaps you could use the center-to-center dimension of bolt holes and have some fabbed out of 3/8" steel plate?

Maybe some ideas here: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?1049146-5-0-Coyote-Crate-Motor-Questions-Engine-stand-Break-in

130-170$? No thanks. The home made ones in that thread would work great and can be easily made with 3/8" plate steel from Lowes or home Depot.

Thanks for the replies. Still am hopeful someone has a set they are willing to part with. I can get the dimensions from another forum member and make my own. That is probably the best and cheapest option.

Lowes/home depot: 1/4" steel plate 4"x12". Cut it in half. Mark and drill holes for driver front/pass rear mounting holes. One hole in the top of each plate for a grade 8 bolt, two wide grade 8 washers, and a grade 8 lock nut to attach the chain to. You'll be all in at about $20 and 2hrs time. Check my build thread and you can see some motor images with them on. Note, I'm using a '15 motor and it looks like you have a 11-14 motor so the mounting points may be a little different. On the rear mount, try and avoid using the side of the motor because the foot box metal gets in the way when installing the motor.

I ordered the 15 motor and the invoice says it is M-6007-M50A. Is there something visually that leads you to believe it is not? I would not know the difference by looking at them.

Yours is the 2015-2016 Coyote motor. The most obvious tell is the CMCV vacuum motors on the back of the intake, clearly showing in your posted pictures. Those did not exist on the 2011-2014 Coyote. I do see though you have the 2011-2014 engine cover, pictured here on mine. Some prefer it over the more square 2015-2016 version. Not sure if you got that one on purpose though.

Another difference would be if yours has a large oil cooler mounted at the oil filter location. Can't see that side from your pictures. What's really important is that you ordered/received the 2015-2016 Controls Pack? Part number M-6017-504V. The 2011-2014 version is not compatible with your engine. BTW, I'm 99% sure the lifting hook positions are unchanged between the two versions.

The 2015-16 Controls pack is M-6017-A504VA, I believe. 504V (no A) is the 2011-14 version.

Nope. The other way around. M-6017-504V is the 2015-2016 version. M-6017-A504V is the older version. What I said was right. Unusual numbering convention I guess, but that's what they are.

I have a set and would want them back. They are heavy and costly to ship maybe $25 each way depending on the zip codes. If you are willing to send a $200 deposit which would cover the postage to you and a $175 refund when I get them back, they are available.

Thanks King. I found a set to borrow and Paul sent me the dimensions for the ones he made so I should be covered.

I don't understand why FF isn't blowing these out on their plasma table and selling them/including them with a kit when it's going to be a Coyote build.
They should be able to make them for $20 a set no problem.

Hey Greg can FF do this ???????????
