Quick question. I tried searching but the search engine throws out the word "new".
Anyways, on newly ordered S & R, does it come with the old style or new style nose? I see conflicting info on factory fives 818 pages.
I like the old one better, so I hope it is still an option. The new one's head lights don't seem to be as nice as oem units.

The S and R come with the new nose and the old nose is no longer an option. Thanks for letting us know the website isn't clear on that. We'll review everything and get the site updated.

Kas, some guys, like me, have upgraded from the old nose to the new nose so you might find the old nose available in your area if you post on the Want To Buy section. I gave my old nose to a 818 builder who smashed his old nose. I upgraded to the new nose because I was unable to align the headlights in the old nose.
I believe Quinny, who lives in Taunton, MA or nearby, upgraded to the new nose. Don't know if he has the original, but worth a try. Let me know if you want me to contact him.

I am from Fall River as well and have the original nose/headlights if you are interested.

If you want less front tire rub on the R, get the new nose. The old nose was rub central, that's why they flared the new fenders more.
