Retain the dogbone vibration dampener??

Does anyone retain the vibration dampener on solid axle rear ends? I think some folks call them "dog bones". I know in the Mustang world there are mixed opinions.

Chuck it .... just unsprung weight.

Toss it. Much different chassis dynamics than Mustang.

Fwiw, I lost the quad shocks also. Haven't had an wheel hop problem yet.
