1999-2004 Donor pedal box removal

Hi,
I'm trying to remove the pedal box from my donor 2000 GT. I have removed the four nuts and brake and clutch cables, but there's what looks like a patterned rivet on the lower right had side. I can't seem to figure out how to remove this stud/rivet/??

Does anyone have any hints for me?

That on is a stud. If you removed the nut than that's not your problem. Look up on the top plate of the pedal box. There is another nut up there that needs to be removed.

I guess I just needed some encouragement, my garage is like an oven today and I did catch the top-nut but I missed the 13mm nut on the engine side of the firewall. (I thought that last one was a pin of some sort). Anyway, being told it was a stud, I looked again for the nut, and as usual the nut was holding on to the wrench!
