Hi everyone,

Few weeks ago I entered my Cobra into the Minneapolis/St. Paul hotrod show. The show was a blast, 12,000 hot rods 1965 and earlier. Parked the car and folks started to ask me to raise the hood to look at the engine. My painter did not really put much time into that part of the job. Engine looks great but what to do with the underneath of the hood. My car is black with silver "ghost stripes" so pretty subdued and unlike some cars I did not continue the stripes under the hood. So I had a painter do this. What I like is that you never see it, but lift the hood and surprise:

Very cool, I like. Speaking of Mnpls. I'm in town on business and already miss driving my roadster after only getting it on the road a few days ago.

WOW, that's a pretty cool surprise lurking under that hood!

What were people's responses to it when they saw it?

Regards,

Steve

I never open my hood to strangers.:p

I like what you have done. That is also an area on mine, that is quite underwhelming..
Maybe I should design a pop-out snake for when the hood is opened, like some birthday cards..:)

Just got it back today and installed the hood. My wife thinks its cool so I am way ahead of the curve. :)

Looks good. Is the logo the same as the ones on your valve cover?

It is very very close. The painter got it off the net, many many choices.

That probably cost as much as the paint job to the body !!!

I had always wondered what the snake would look like under the hood. Thanks for bringing it to life!
