After installing one of the adapters and torquing it to spec, I noticed the cotter pin hole is not accessible (its facing sideways). I removed the nut but cant get the adapter off. What should I use?

Thanks

Trying to remove the ball joint from the spindle adapter could result in damage to the ball joint or boot. I would bend the first 1/2 inch of the pin in an arc so it will start in the hole. Push it through until you can get a grip on the end with needle nose pliers or vice grips and pull it into position.

Got it removed. It was easy. Reinstalled everything correctly

Sorry to bring this back to life. I destroyed the boot for the upper ball joint trying to get the adapter off. Now I have to remove it. Any ideas?
