Rear Axle Part Numbers

I know someone out there can help me. I am looking to replace the stock axles on an '03 GT housing with narrower ones. The ones I am looking for are 5 lug, 28 spline, without the ABS trigger gear. The axles are app. 1" narrower per side. I tried the dealer and they have no ability to cross match. I have tried a couple supplier sources and feel like I'm getting the runaround. I believe the axles I am looking for are from a Ranger but am not certain enough to go out on a limb and order them from the dealer.

Try Rock Auto Part Number 2022601 $60.00 a piece and perfect for what you need. I just bought 2 and they showed up here today. If you are running a high horsepower motor then you might want something better. These are basically replacement axles for a ford ranger.
