I am planning ahead while my Mk4 is being painted, and looking for a decent indoor car cover. The Shelby American ones are quite pricey. Has anyone here found a good alternate? As usual, can't find anything here in Canada.

Thanks!

I think FFR sells a fitted one - may want to check that out.

My wife got one for me from covercraft - it's the tan "dustop" version. Not sure what it cost, but I'm guessing it was in the area of 300USD.

From ~$150 to ~$420, made for the Roadster.

I picked up a Budge Lite 2 at Walmart for under $25. a few years ago. It keeps the dust off while in the garage.

I went to local auto parts store and got a cover for a small car for about $40. If this is just for inside your garage use save some money and get a cheap one like this. I wouldn't want it out in the weather but it works great for inside use.

I bought an inexpensive cover at Crappy Tire, works great for indoor use in the winter. I'll get you the part number tomorrow.

I've got 4 or 5 of the cheapie 30 dollar ones that I use to cover other roadsters and chassis that are in the shop while I'm doing body & paint work. They do exactly what they're supposed to do---keep the dust off. Personally can't see the point in dropping a hundred bucks plus on one to do the same thing...

I got one one from California Car Cover (now called Cover anything?) www. coveranything. com It fit's absolutely perfectly. They don't have it listed on their website, but they have the pattern for the Cobra. I called and asked for it. It was probably more expensive than Walmart, but probably a lot less expensive than Shelby America. I can't remember which material mine was, but I think it was the lightest material they offered.
