Hey Guys,

i have couple parts still missing (waiting for them to arrive from FF), but, i was wondering if i can buy some of them so i don't have to wait for several more weeks (up to 4)
to be able to keep moving with this awesome project, so here its the short list:

steering wheel bearing w/base
e-brake
and overflow tank

As always, thank you for your thoughts and time.

Mike

Those are all real easy parts to work around. Shouldn't hold you up a bit.

Hey Mr Edward,

thank you for the input, however i guess my main problem is to know which spare parts to ask for in the first place..
thinking twice i can probably call Breeze or Summit Racing, maybe they will now the right parts that need to be send.

Speedway Motors has a lot of items if you are in a stand still; however, the FFR gang is usually pretty good about getting MIA parts shipped timely.

Just keep following up to make sure that you are on their MIA radar.

The mounted ball bearing used on the upper steering shaft is a pretty generic item. Probably available at McMaster or Graingers. The e-brake assembly FF is supplying now is a custom in-house designed and produced unit. Not going to find that anywhere else. They used to use Mustang e-brake handles, but the FF one works OK in my experience. Lots of choices for overflow tanks, and Summit, Jegs, Speedway, etc. have them in all shapes and sizes.

But why would you pay again for something you've already purchased? Just to gain a few weeks and especially if they don't hold up the build? If the backordered parts are on the FF POL (Parts Order List, what they call the backorder list) they are quite diligent about getting them to you as they are received. Nearly every kit is delivered with some parts on the POL. Some more, some less. It's not unusual for it to take some weeks, or even a few months in some cases (unfortunately) for everything to be delivered. On my current build, I picked up the kit in August and didn't receive the Wilwood brakes until November (front) and December (rear). That's pretty extreme, and Wilwood made the worst of it. But it happens. Usually it's possible to build around the shortages.

Agree about staying in touch with regular calls.

Thank you all for the input, i guess makes sense to wait to receive the parts, just found that im ALSO waiting for the dashboard,
so, no need to even rush the bearing, oh well,

have a great day, and again, thank you for your time and invaluable advice
