Hi all.

I am powering my Mark4 with a LS3/TR6060 6 speed combo. So I need to add a hydraulic master cylinder to the kits wilwood pedal setup. However I am not sure what size to get.

Can anyone assist here? Do I want 3/4", 7/8", or maybe even 1"?

Thank you

It will depend on what slave setup you have, clutch fork setup, and clutch.

In my case, I have a stock type fork on a T-5 trans and a Quartermaster clutch with a Forte's slave cylinder anda 1" MC worked out fine.

Thanks John for the reply.
However, the TR6060 does not use a clutch fork.
It has the completely standard GM hydraulic throw out bearing setup for clutch actuation. Does anyone have any experience with these?

Do some research on the originating vehicle on a parts site like RockAuto.com to determine the size of the master cylinder. Often the rebuild kit will list the size of the cylinder.

Hi,
My set up is a bit different but they are all basically the same. I run a stroked 351w and a T5. I used a Mcloed hydraulic throw out bearing and a 3/4" master and it works awesome. Light on the pedal and silky smooth.
Regards,
Andy

where did you locate the reservoir for the clutch master cylinder? Thanks.

I ordered my hydaulic clutch kit from American Powertrain. It uses the Mcloed hydraulic throwout bearing along with a 3/4" Wilwood master cylinder. I would try American Powertrain or Forte's for parts or tech support that you need.
