Check this out if you want a nice stereo that is water resistant for your Hot Rod.
The stereo that I bought is an Infinity PRV250 that is USB, MP3 and Bluetooth streaming compatible. The real kicker is that unit is that it is extremely shallow, only about 2.5” deep, so it fits where many systems simply can’t. From my perspective another big plus is that it is water proof and 200 watts (4 Channel By 50-Watts).
For speakers I used 4” Polk Marine Coaxials and it all came from Rock The Boat Audio, but I found all the items on other sites including Amazon. Infinity also as a New Touch Screen Version that replaces the unit that I have, but I opted for the PRV250 because it had buttons, plus it was on sale too.
Also, I installed all of my secondary switches in the panel so it keeps the main dash pretty clean.
