I have been thinking about the ffr. For a couple yrs. Now. I'm a mopar guy, but always liked the cobra. I'm looking for a owner of the roadster that would be willing to let me look at a car in person as I want to see one before I buy one. I'm located near Richmond mich. Thanks.

Not a strange request. Great idea to check out in person. I'm less than an hour away from you in Lake Orion. I have a completed Mk4 and an under construction Mk4 in the garage. You're welcome to drop over and check them out. Send me a PM if interested. Lots of activity in the SE Michigan area with these of all brands. Check out http://www.greatlakescobra.com/index.cfm.

Welcome to the forum
I like the Cobras too but I'm building a 33 FF coupe. Being a Mopar guy myself I have a 408Dakota Rt an SRT6 and I had an SRT8 that inspired me to stroke a 6.1 to 7L and put that in my coupe. Enjoy the build on whatever FF you choose, I am.

Scott,
Welome to the forums. You will find people here very friendly and willing to help. The build threads are a great way to learn about these builds. I am envious of your proximity to Edwardb. He is one of the most knowledgeable guys on the forum. If you want to check out a build you would be hard pressed to find a better example than his!

Do avail yourself the opportunity to check out edwardb's vehicles - they are breathtaking.
I'm down a little farther in Royal Oak should you ever be down this way - happy to show it/take you for a spin.

If I had to pick 5 guys for a list of who to see if you are considering building a roadster, Edward would be on that list and he's in your backyard...da Bat
