What are folks using as parking (e-brake) handle boot with FFR center console ? The one that came with my kit is very odd shaped and really does not fit a 2002 WRX e-brake handle.

I used the donor shifter boot.

I've made 3 by hand. They are all in the trash. :(

I made mine from piece of marine vinyl. Cut apart the donor, it was ratty looking. Made the new one a little longer. Used a sewing machine and sewed the pieces inside out. Flipped around and it looked great. Sewing machine takes a little bit of practice but is just another tool. Pics are in my thread.

I prefer mine exposed - no boot.

So my donor boot does not have a square base, its oblong and narrow, the hole in the aluminum console is like the shifter, square. Still not sure what to do, I may just take the aluminum cover off and run no boot unless there is a cheap fix out there.

I think it's square because per FFR instructions, you are supposed to use your donor shift boot for the e-brake handle.

I will have to figure out something different for mine because my ebrake and shifter are not in the FFR position and I'm not using any FFR tunnel aluminum. Guess that means I'm going to have to be nice to a lady friend with a sewing machine.
