For an Fe build can I use a stick oil pan

You would need to source an oil pan from Aviaid or similar for a Mk4 with a 427.

I would not. With a stock pan and the way these cars can accelerate, the oil can rush to the back and leave very little for the pump in the front. Forte's Parts Connection can hook you up with a good pan. I am running a Milodon road race pan in my MK3 with an FE427 from Summit and it fits nice

I have the Canton pan on my FE.. works great. The Aviaid is cool looking but it very costly. Look up "Raceral build thread" I have some pictures
