Hi Everyone! My name is Bob. I've been looking at the website for quite a while now (waiting for the day that I can build a hot rod, hopefully in a couple of years) and stumbled upon the Forum last Thanksgiving (I don't know how I missed it for so long...). I was hooked. The build threads are excellent. It's inspiring to see a community of people so willing to share knowledge and experience with so many others. My youngest son and I went to the open house this year (my second, his first) and he was impressed at how all of the Roadsters were different in some way, even though they were the "same car". That is the beauty of this passion, doing it your way and making it your own, and I can't wait to be part of it.
Keep up the awesome work!
Bob

Welcome aboard. There is a wealth of knowledge and a very helpful demeanor here. Happy to help however I can. I live in Massachusetts but have a vacation home in NH so I am close by if you need a hand or advise.

Buy the assembly manual of the car that you want to build.
Read it, then read it again, then one more time just for fun.
After that, I am pretty sure you'll order your dream car.
Some Assembly Required Of Course!
Good Luck!

Excellent idea, I will do that. Considering that I have the factory service manuals for my Mustang and I enjoy sitting down and reading them as a person would read a novel, I think it's a must. Thanks for the tip!

My wife bought me a hard copy manual for Christmas of 2013 because she knew I was interested in building a FFR MK-4.
When I was traveling for business or hanging out at our son's swim meets, I'd read the manual.
I think I've read it about 5 or 6 times and it has made my build go very well so far.
We ordered out kit on November 10th, 2014 and it was delivered early in 2015.
With that being said: If This Banker Can Do It, Then So Can You!
