Just ordered roadster kit

My dad and I just ordered our roadster kit and it will arrive in late October. The kit is my mid life crisis and his excuse for a second retirement. We are using a donor 94-95 mustang. We plan to put a 331 stroker with AFR 185 stage 2 top end and a Quad 44IDF Weber carb setup. We plan to just do some street cruising and some local car shows. This is our first kit car however we have experience in stock car circle track racing so we are excited about the fabrication. So far this forum has been very helpful in the planning stages and I appreciate the help I will be asking for in advance.

Is it mid October because you requested that or are they a little backed up? I ordered at the very end of May and am expecting delivery right about the end of the month from Stewart. I was surprised it is coming so quick.

We requested October to finish up a couple other projects and we wanted the get the donor stripped and gone. Also wanted to rebuild rear end, transmission and motor before the kit arrived.
