I will be the first (I believe) to admit I made a mistake a while back with the 20 Anniversary composite dash. I added holes for the high beam and directional indicator lights in the wrong places. Any ideas to salvage the dash would be appreciated. I also ruined the blank aluminum dash provided and have a new one to begin again. Thought I would at least reachout to see whether I'm not alone and maybe someone has come up with a simple fix for mistakes.

Just realized I misspelled composite in the title.

Use the hole for something else? Maybe place a small plaque over the holes? Maybe an aluminum trim plate?

Silicone some small aluminum plates on the dash behind the holes; fill from the front side with two-part body filler and sand flush.

Jay,

Not sure I mentioned it when I dropped by, but I drilled two holes in my dash in the wrong place.... the ones on the far ends for the air vent pull knobs ended up too high and the knobs were where the doors needed to be - oops. I fixed both by using some JB Weld to hold a small patch of aluminum (about 1" square) from the back side, and then let the JB Weld pool in the void. When it was cured, I filed and sanded it down flush with the dash and once covered, it's invisible.
