Hi all! Trever Jones from Seattle. My Son and I are starting the process to do an 818 build, to the point of building an 800sq.ft. Shop to do the build. Looking to do a road trip in Washington or Oregon. To view a 818
In process or completed build. Anyone out there willing to host my son and I for an hour to do a show and tell. Thanks F-5 Nation.

off topic but Oregon all the way. My wife and I went on a road trip a few years back in a mustang convertible and it was some legendary driving.
we went:
Portland to Mount Hood (stayed at Timberline Lodge)
Mount Hood to Sunriver (stayed at Sunriver Resort)
Sunriver to Crater Lake (stayed at Crater Lake Lodge)
Crater lake to Oregon Caves (stayed at The Oregon Caves Chateau)
Oregon Caves through the redwoods to 101 up to Gold Beach (cant remember hotel off hand)
Did the dunes in Florence, the sea lion caves, the rogue brewery tour etc etc
Then up the coast to Tillamook and the Wilson River Highway back to Portland.
It was life altering amazing, we look forward to doing it again some time soon!
Maybe my 818 will be done one day and we can take that.

Why I live in Bend Oregon! What you missed by coming years ago is that Oregon has exploded with breweries. Portland has more breweries than any city in the World. And Bend has more micro-breweries per capita than anywhere in the US, and possibly the World.
"There are currently 58 breweries in Portland, 84 in the Portland metro area, 23 in Bend and 31 in Central Oregon and 14 in Eugene. Portland currently has the most breweries of any city in the world."

I live in Kirkland and have a almost completed 818R (doing punch list before heading out to the track), I also have a FFR Challenge car and live just under a mile from a fairly good micro brew pub.

Is that all? San Diego County, California has been called "the Craft Beer Capital of America." The county is home to more than 100 breweries, microbreweries, and brewpubs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer_in_San_Diego_County,_California) :p

J/K I get up to PDX frequently and had a great road-trip from Portland to San Francisco, but I have to defend my home turf! :)
Sorry for the diversion, Trever; welcome to the club!

And San Diego!
Uh, yeah, sorry Trevor. I think that will be a nice size shop for the build. So you're really starting from scratch.
