You won't go wrong if you decide to go with Factory Five Racing!
I looked at quite a few other companies over a period of about 5 years before I took the plunge.
Buy the assembly manual of the kit that you want to build and read it a few times before you jump in with both feet.
You'll get a feel for the process and become familiar with each and every part of the car.
The manual comes in Electronic and Paper versions.
Then consider going to the build school if you don't feel like you are ready to start swinging the wrenches on your own.

Mk4, though the '33 looks cool also. Anyway I'm just starting the info gathering process. I'm not even sure of a time frame yet. Love to do either with the 5.0L.

welcome! I am pretty new here also and find this forum to be a great resource. Haven't asked a question yet that I haven't good solid information back in return.
