Little Falls NY...260 miles to go! I actually caught a bit of sleep! When we get to FFR, a donut in the parking lot will be a great way to say we made it! There are so many bugs on the car!

DO NOT CLEAN THEM OFF! Wear 'em all weekend as a much deserved badge of honor. Dave will love it :)

Sten -
Sounds like a great ride... too bad I had to miss it again this year. Just made that drive a few weeks ago - I really love driving through the PA mountains.
Have fun at the open house - maybe you can win the "most patina" award for all the bugs.

We had a blast at the open house! Then we had some great sea food at Eastbay Grill and saw Plymouth Rock. BTW, it's just a rock. Ha. Now we are off and headed back home. It may be another straight through drive depending on the weather. We are passing through Albany NY at this time.

Well... It looks like a wall of Mother Nature in our way! Might just run right up to the rain and hit a hotel for the night! Not what we hoped for...
Open house is sooooo much more than car and hotdogs! more like a family reunion!

Well, we hit a dead deer on 90 last night. No damage to the car. The drivers side felt like it came off the ground when we hit it. Guts under the car, on the drivers side pipe and both wheels. Between that and the looming rain storm we called it night in Williamsville NY at Salvatore's Grand Hotel. This is hands down one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. We are up and moving again today. Great trip so far.

Sten, You guys are awesome! Pretty scary to hear you hit a deer! Glad it was already down or it could have been a major disaster. I'm sure the smell was memorable!
Was great to reconnect with you Sten! See you at LCS!

I do love venison Garry... In my stomach and NOT on my car! Looks like a pressure washing and detailing is in the plan before London! Dan was driving when Bambi got wacked, and feels bad about it. I'm just glad we're okay. Bottom line!

I don't envy you the clean up!

Well everyone, 2423 miles logged in our weekend jaunt to Open house! I made it to work, and thank God there wasn't much to do! Dan worked 2nd shift and made out. The roadster is resting all emptied out with fans blowing inside to dry it out.
Thanks to everybody for their encouragement and support while dodging a few raindrops and collecting various types of wildlife along the way! I enjoyed meeting many of the people that I became familiar with on the forums.
Again, thank you and I'll see many of you in London!
