I took delivery of my complete MK4 Kit in May 2014. In April, I attended the 3 day Build School which was very informative and I highly recommend it. I incorporated many of the build tips from the instructors. Since I am now retired, I was able to complete my build in less than 2 years. Many thanks go out to all the technical help I received from Factory Five, F5 Forum and FF Cars Forum. You guys pulled me out of a jam several times with your responses to my forum posts. Below is a long list of what went into my build.

Body and Paint

Sanded down all body seams
Test fir hood, trunk & doors - set initial gaps
Applied 2 coats of trunk bed liner to underside of body
All aluminum panels were powder coated semi gloss black
Applied Lizard Skin to interior & trunk aluminum panels
Applied Thermo Guard heat insulation sheets to interior panels & back side of firewall
Finish body work & paint completed by A-1 Collision in Houston, Texas
Color: Corvette Laguna blue with Mercedes silver stripes & 1/4" wide black accent stripe

Very nicely done. I really like the colors. Close to the blue/white that 90% seem to be but just enough different to be well, different.

She looks great! I like the color, as others have said, and some nice options and custom touches.

I also like what you did on the scoop color on the underside of the hood.
