I see lots of threads on body work and painting but I don't see much on what type of paint to use on fiberglass, Urethane , Acrylic, Enamel, etc. Can some one shed some light on the subject. Ill be ready to paint in the next couple weeks.

I spray acrylic urethane base (PPG Omni Plus MBP or Deltron DBC) over high build polyester primer (Evercoat Slick Sand) and top 'em with 5 Star clear. We recently had a discussion on various clears on the other forum that you might find interesting:

Good luck,

I used a PPG water-based product called "EnviroBase" - my friend who owns the body shop where I painted it said that the water-based base coats tend to orient the metallic particles a bit differently than the solvent-based paints and give a bit more "pop."
