I am considering replacing my FFR overflow tank with a MOROSO 63769 two quart tank. I have a MK4 with a sbf so I should have enough room. Has anyone used this product and do you have pictures of your installation?

I use this in my challenge car w/o any issues, mine is a mk2 so not sure the install picture would be of interest to you

I used a Canton Racing 80-201 2 quart overflow tank in my Mk3. I know it's not a Moroso, but very similar to the one you are asking about. I mounted it on the front X-member. I didn't have room for that size tank (or location) on Mk4 #7750, so mounted a Moroso 63766 on the PS F-panel. It's only 1.25 quarts, but I've found it has enough capacity. Both builds are SBF's. Both are visible in the engine compartment shots below.

Good choice. Do it.
I did the same thing a year ago.
The original FF tank was just to small for my application.

Thanks guys. Your responses have been very helpful. Even though I have a Mk4 I think mounting on the front X-member is the way to go. Thanks edwardb for the pics.

Went with the Canton also, same idea - mounted it to the X-brace. The hole spacing on the tank brackets required me to make two mounting brackets on the X-frame, just used aluminum angle. You may run into the same issue with the Moroso.
