Has anyone had experience with the Stage build that I hear about? This is new to me.
Glad to know Factory 5 will work in stages.
Someone give me an opinion of the stage build experience.
Thanks in advance,

I did not know they started the staged kit again ? I know they have it for the hotrod, but they stopped the roadster one years ago, that's when I did mine. Back then it worked out fine

Same here. Hotrod can be done with stages, but I've not seen anything from FFR that indicates stages available in the roadster. Complete or base kit is it along with whatever add-on options you choose.

I would be surprised if FFR offered staged roadster kits again. It may be nice to have the flexibility from the customer perspective, but for the company/supplier it would be b-a-d bad.

As far as staging goes, the way I look at it is the customer can stage expenditures as follows as an example:
- Basic kit: do as many sub-assemblies as possible before buying anything else
- Rear-end components
- Wheels and tires
- Engine and transmission
- Basic bodywork prep (fill, prep, sand, align...)
- Paint

That's an oversimplification, but you get the idea.

Interesting topic nonetheless.

We only offer the Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits for the Hot Rod.
Our MK4 Roadster is not offered in this option. Sorry for any inconvenience or confusion
