So.... I have been getting a lot of calls and PMs about my Weber setup... how they run and do they idle....well I figured why not video a completely cold start...so I pushed the car out this morning and took a vid.... from dead cold after sitting for a week.

Erik,

Thanks for sharing - I'm using the same intake set-up for my '65 Mustang vintage race car project and this was a nice little inspiration.

Thanks for that. I do love to dream and drool about Webers.

I recently ordered a roadster kit that will arrive in October. I plan on running a Weber setup with a 331 stroker. The engine will have about 400hp at the crank. I am not sure if I should run 44 or 48 IDA's. From what I have read I am right on the dividing line. The car is just going to be a street cruiser. Any input will be appreciated.

Jim Inglese in North Branford, CT (not the Inglese Induction company) is a top notch source for Weber systems.

I ran 48 IDA's on mynGT40 and have them on my 289fIA. The trick ones to have are modified with a 3rd progression hole for improved street ability. Cam selection is critical. Yes, they're a little tricky to get right, but the wow factor and the seat of the pants acceleration is unmatched. Run as much compression as you can.,Webers love compression.
