Steve from Stewart Transport is an amazing driver! He was able to get his rig into the narrow winding tree lined roads of my neighborhood and turn around within the gravel parking lot of our village garage to make my delivery. What a great guy too - very helpful and reassuring to a nervous new builder. I should not have been nervous as I was in good hands and strongly recommend Stewart to any potential customers for their delivery.
Here are some photos of the delivery.
Planned build is Mk4 Roadster complete kit, 3-link rear 8.8 rear from 94 GT with new Moser Fox length axles, new 3.55 gears, FFR performance rear brake kit, rebuilt 302/5L long block (300hp target), MSD Atomic EFI/ProBillet distributor/6AL ignition, FFR SS headers and side exhaust, TKO-500 5-speed, FFR power steering upgrade, leather classic seats, RS & LS chrome roll bars, heater/defroster kit, color will be a Midnight Blue metallic with Pewter metallic stripes, and grey PC aluminum panels.
Heading out to Mott College this weekend with my youngest son for the build school. Can't wait!

Congratulations!

I went to build school last February with my Father and my oldest son. It was a great weekend for the three of us. You are in for a real treat and the instructors are really great guys. Ask a lot of questions and take a lot of notes. I'm convinced that their warnings and advice has saved me countless hours and dollars in mistakes.

Good luck!
Doug

Lucky B@$t@rd. Yours came in the good looking delivery truck. On my delivery day last month, I was on pins and needles looking for the Logo'd truck and was (only partially) crestfallen when the "generic" pulled up. I know it is what inside that counts, but in this case, the "wrapping paper" is as good as the gift itself. :D

Enjoy and take your time on the inventory. Count (except the rivets), measure and reconfirm all lengths and widths, and label everything.

Best,

Brian
